Community Liaison – Full Time, Part Time

First Healthcare Consultants is seeking a motivated and outgoing Community Liaison to engage with the community and promote our healthcare services. This role involves establishing and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare providers, referral sources, and potential clients to enhance our outreach efforts.

Job Responsibilities:

• Community Engagement: Represent the company in the community, building relationships with potential referral sources, including doctors’ offices, hospital discharge planners, assisted living facilities, and other healthcare professionals.
• Market Analysis: Assess the company’s service area to determine target markets and identify opportunities for growth.
• Referral Development: Present the agency’s credentials and services to potential referral sources to generate new patient referrals.
• Strategic Planning: Analyze past and current marketing data, company strengths and weaknesses, and patient relationships to develop effective marketing objectives and projections.
• Marketing Plan Execution: Develop and implement a structured marketing plan, setting clear priorities and a reasonable timeline for achieving outreach goals.
• Performance Review: Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies and adjust plans as needed to improve outreach efforts.

Job Conditions:

• The role involves frequent deadlines and requires the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
• Primarily a desk job, but requires frequent movement, including standing, sitting, stooping, walking, and extensive telephone communication.
• Light lifting may be required for office records and materials.
• Must be able to read printed materials, communicate clearly, and hear telephone conversations effectively.

Equipment Operation:

• Must be proficient in using office equipment, including a PC, calculator, multi-line telephone, and standard office tools.

Company Information:

• The role involves access to confidential patient medical and financial records, which must be handled with strict discretion and in compliance with company policies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum one (1) year of experience in marketing, nursing, or social work, with experience interacting with healthcare professionals and agencies.
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with healthcare providers at all levels.
